Since I live in an apartment building, I need quarters for doing laundry. But there are plenty of other reasons for keeping a change jar.
Try finding a jar or something to dump your change in when you come home. I guarantee that after a short period of collecting you will be surprised at how much change you have amassed. If you’re anything like me, you will probably have close to $100 after a few months.

I have a jar I bought called “Vacation Fund” and I do the same thing – I drop all my loose change in it in preparation for…a vacation! I was on a role but stopped putting my change in there a few months ago…I should start again!
