Upcoming flick starring the one and only Steve Carell with Anne Hatheway. Based on Mel Brooks’ television show. Looks hilarious.

Here’s a step by step guide on how to score an absolutely free night at the movies. I was able to use this guide to sneak a peek at the movie Juno.

  1. Check out the official websites of upcoming films or your local theater (or any other venues) for current free offers.
  2. Hop on your bike and ride to the nearest light rail.
  3. Utilize your eco-pass for free public transportation.
  4. Ride the rail until you get close to your desired destination.
  5. Bike on over to the theater a little early to get a good spot in line.
  6. Nab a free t-shirt while in line.
  7. Enjoy movie.

I am a huge fan of the movies. Arthouse, indie, Hollywood blockbusters, you name it.

I am, however, not a fan of the absurd ticket prices.

That’s where the discount admit cards come in handy. At my local theater complex, they offer a deal of 10 movie passes for only $50!

That comes out to uhh, 3, 7, carry the 1, 6cm… a whopping $5 per ticket! So check with your local cineplex for some mind-numbingly cheap deals on movies!
