My boy Mattias (I think people call him that sometimes, or maybe its just me..) made this sick suc video of our trip to Vegas.  Do you dig?

Chrome held and alleycat and goldsprints race in San Francisco at their 4th st. location.

Normally goldsprints are pretty fun and exciting.  You hop on the stationary bike and ride for either 500m or 1000m.  Not 2000m.  On Friday night I experienced probably one of the most brutal and rigorous exercises ever.

The standard 500m distance can be completed in around 20 seconds.  Just multiply that by more than 4x for the 2000m.  The amount of stress that your body endures during that 1 plus minute and afterwards is nothing short of torture.  Matt yakked a few times after his race.  I collapsed onto the cement sidewalk after getting murdered by 15 seconds by Jose.

I was also able to snap a picture of the elusive couple that is Citybeats and Manjo.

Went up to Santa Rosa today to witness the first stage of the Tour de California with Lance Armstong. Yeah!!!! Also participated in goldsprints, and improved my time. Hopefully I can break the 20 second barrier next time. Tell me why San Jose has the fastest riders around!?!? We got all of the top spots. Even I came home with some free swag, a set of Hutchinson tires baby!!

Last Friday Mojo’s in San Francisco hosted a Goldsprints event to showcase the new electronic/computer gadgetry, and I must say it was pretty awesome.  It was my first attempt at doing Goldsprints, and I was so incredibly slow that they officially changed the name of the event to Bronzedawdle.

Tim was able to break the sound barrier, with a time of 18.71.

Wilson learned the hard way, and found out that Red Stripe does not have electrolytes.  He left a lovely acidic parting gift on the curbside.

The new Goldsprints design looked pretty cool, as it visually showed the frontrunner of each race in realtime, and had a bunch of different stats that would have made the CNN ticker jealous.
