Julian says don’t be sad.
I’m listening to his new album, Phrazes for the Young as I am writing this post and my next post. It’s a bargain for only $4.99.
One of my favorite musical acts from the past decade or two is reuniting. Faith No More, who has influenced countless bands, have been confirmed to reunite for a tour this year. Booyah!
Just kidding. I love the blues. But I also love the green.
An old old old old friend of mine turned me on to Wheatware, a company that makes bio-friendly guitar picks and drum sticks.
Did I mention that Live Earth musicians rocked out with these?
For those of you on Facebook, you may already know about the group “Sleeveface.” I don’t have a Facebook account, so I just recently found out about this trend. Pretty neat.
Since I don’t have an account, I am going to make you guys suffer through my Sleeveface. And Sir Paul, I mean no disrespect whatsoever (great album). Check out CubeMe for some more clever faces.
I wanted to set up a sweet 2 channel audio system so I could listen to my righteous tunes. I also didn’t want to blow a grand on a redundant Onkyo or Harman Kardon system. So I opted to go the vintage route.
I remembered that my dad had an old school receiver that wasn’t being used anymore. He happily gave it to me since it was just taking up space at their place. Good deal for both of us, plus that’s one less Kenwood receiver in the trash.
Let me tell you, they don’t make ‘em like they used to. Although my receiver is rated at only 40 watts per channel, you would think that there was a lot more power driving that ground shattering audio. As for the aesthetic aspect, I think it accentuates my credenza quite nicely.
