Pavel and Sarah had an extra spot for me to visit the Anchor Steam Brewery in San Francisco. Being the hobo that I am, I gladly accepted. Five of us were able to comfortably fit into Sarah’s Fit.

We knew it was going to be a long day, with plenty of beer, so we had to line our stomach’s with something scrumdilioucious. Millbrae Pancake House was on the way; anytime is a good time for pancakes.

After breakfast/lunch we hit up the brewery, no iPhone needed, as we just followed the scent of the fermented yeast. Did I learn anything? Yes, hops are just an additive for taste, adding bitterness to offset the sweetness in beers. Time to get suc.

Once the tour was over, the guide gave us a taste of all of the beers that they brewed. If you’re counting the time, that was six beers before 1230pm. Talk about suc.

Since we were already in the city, we decided to stick around to do some exploring. One of the spots we stopped by was Bean Bag cafe, which is misleading because there were no beanbag chairs. They did offer blueberry french toast, which we all devoured; but it was mostly me.

The cool thing about the little excursion was catching up with everyone and talking about life. All of us at one point had corporate jobs, and eventually either got laid off or quit. Julia, Marc, Sarah and I definitely did not like the corporate rat race. Pavel’s nickname is corporate p, so yeah you do the math. But now look, we’re all “growed up,” enjoying some binge drinking at 11am, and savoring blueberry french toast mid-afternoon. Cheers to life.

douhudoduoduododo..Whatever happened to predictability..the milkman..the paperboy..evening tv..

A cop gave me a ticket today for running a red light on my bike while on the way to work. There’s this song from the late 80’s that comes to mind for me right now . It was by this rap group, N.W.A… Hmmm, what was the name of that song off the album Straight Outta Compton… Damn it’s on the tip of my tongue..oh yeah that’s right. F*CK THA POLICE!

Yeah, I know so I broke the law. But I knew the timing of the lights and the light was green by the time I was in the middle of the street. As the officer pulls me over, he storms out of his car and starts berating me. I know these cops get their jollies off by going on their power trips. What to do? Remain calm and tell them to have a nice day, oh and thank them for the ticket.

The last time I received a ticket for a biking violation, I just showed up to court and the judge let me off. That was for a stop sign though, hopefully I can at least reduce the fine by showing up this time.

And to add insult to injury, when I rolled up to work I had a flat.

Things picked up when I got home though. My external hard drive came in! Sucwidit!

Plugged her in and Time Machine worked like a charm. I backed up all my precious media, and moved all my files over.

My computer was so full that I couldn’t even install updates on my computer. When I clicked on software update, I had over a GIGABYTE of updates to install.

P.S I was super tired after last night’s ride, and hanging out with everyone. But Jen called me and was like hey I’m going to be on Conan tonight so you better stay up and watch me. I was like ok, but just for you. Ow!!!!

I’ve been out of it for the past couple of days with a minor case of the cold.  While everybody else is out playing I’ve been confined to my sofa.

Anywho, I still had enough energy to get my cork on.  One of my walls is completely bare white, and it looks pretty plain, but frankly I have been too lazy to do anything about it.  Painting takes too much effort, and would also mean me taking down my rasterbation.

I decided to just get a few rolls of cork to line the walls as backing for photos and whatnot.  Cork is natural, and is considered really environmentally friendly because of its sustainable nature.  Cork trees are easily harvestable and last for years, and cork is a very recycle friendly material.

Yeah, it looks pretty bastardy, but hopefully it’ll look better once I throw some photos on there.  Now I just need to go to the lab and print some photos out.  And get a new camera. Oh suc.

A group of about 10 of us made our way down from San Francisco to San Jose.  We took the train up, only to find out that we got succc’ed twice on board. Matt had dookie on his shoe, and my hydration pouch was leaking all over my backpack.  All good, because the Sharks were going to win later on that night right?  Wrong.
